me and theology
What's your theological worldview? created with QuizFarm.com | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.

I don't feel alienated from older forms of church; I actually value tradition a lot. I have no problem with crusades and altar-calls, but otherwise I tend to agree with the rest of that paragraph.
you have no problem with crusades? none?
well, i have a great problem with the Crusades.
but i don't object to the existence of billy graham-like evangelism. indeed, i probably wouldn't consider bringing friends to a crusade, but i really don't have a good perspective regarding the efficacy or authenticism of crusades; i have a sense that they can be both good tools and poor tools for sharing the gospel.
